EXHIBITION CRITERIA

  • The Metamorphosis Gallery “Black and White” exhibition theme is SURREAL and FANTASY art, using a limited colour palette of only Black and White. Please note entries submitted that do not adhere to this theme will not be considered.

  • We welcome entries in any medium or style of visual art.

    • This includes: Traditional art (including painting, drawing, sculpture, fibre art, collage, mixed media, art dolls etc.), Digital art, and Photography (digital & analogue).

  • All artists, of all ages and all countries, are encouraged to enter.

  • The artwork(s) entered can be already sold.

  • The artwork(s) entered have to be in keeping with the exhibition theme.

  • You do not have to create a new work for your entry – but of course you can if you want to.

  • Metamorphosis Gallery will take a 30% commission on works sold during the exhibition.

  • Entries must be submitted online by midnight 15th June, 2023 [EST time].

  • A limit of five (5) works per artist can be entered. Multiple entries must each have a separate Entry Form and entry fee.

  • To complete your entry a non-refundable entry fee of $25 AUD is required. The entry fee is processed by PayPal, but a PayPal account is not required, you can use PayPal as a “guest”. Credit/debit card payments are also accepted through PayPal. The entry fee contributes to the administration, advertising and marketing of the exhibition.

  • Submission does not guarantee being accepted in the show, work must meet all requirements and be approved by the selection committee.

  • The artist warrants that the work entered is original, is the property of the artist and does not infringe any third party rights. The artist shall, at any time requested by Metamorphosis Gallery, execute such documents and do such acts as may be reasonably required to perfect the rights granted to them by these Conditions. The artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Metamorphosis Gallery and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, from any liability or damages of any kind, including legal fees or costs, resulting from any claim of infringement or other proprietary right of any person or entity.

  • Metamorphosis Gallery is the sole owner of the information collected from the entry form and any other information submitted. Metamorphosis Gallery will not sell, share or rent this information to any third party, except as above.
